The Association of School Business Officials International (IASBO) has once again bestowed one of its highest honors on District 200. Chief Financial Officer Risa Hanson was recently notified that the district had earned its TENTH Meritorious Budget Award. Risa and her staff have achieved this significant accomplishment every year since 2002.December 5, 2011
This is the ELEVENTH consecutive year that District 200 has received the Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting Award from the Association of School Business Officials International (ASBO). This recognition is for the fiscal year that ended on June 30, 2010. The award is widely considered to be the highest form of recognition for school district financial operations and means that District 200 has met rigorous standards for accounting practices and has demonstrated strict adherence to sound principles and practices.September 28, 2011
The District 200 Board of Education has unanimously approved a budget of $87.5 million for the 2011-2012 school year.
